Mendocino County Youth Project is announcing their 2019 Art event, for students of Mendocino County. MCYP will also be celebrating the opening of it’s new downtown Youth Project Office and Drop-in Center.
The event will be held at 116 S Main Street from 5-9pm on May 3rd, in conjunction with the First Friday Art Walk of Ukiah.
All youth age 12 -20 are invited to participate. Fifty percent of youth art sales is paid directly back to the youth artist, and the other half going to the Jim Levine Legacy Scholarship Fund. Adults are welcome to submit art to be sold as a donation and is tax deductible.
Application packets have been sent to schools throughout Mendocino County, you may also contact the MCYP office at 707-463-4915 or go to the website MCYP.org to get an application packet and more information.
