SPACE presents “Gritos De Mi Pueblo” (Cries Of My Town), written & directed by Carlos Jacinto. Performances will be on March 15 and March 16 at 7 pm at SPACE Theater 508 West Perkins Street in Ukiah.
Gritos De Mi Pueblo is a musical theater production in Spanish that tells a love story between Jose Cruz and his beloved Mexico. This love will be tested throughout Jose’s journey from Mexico to the fields of California. If our countries and local towns were a nurturing mother, what would their pain look and sound like when losing their children to alcohol, drugs, or gangs? Come and experience “Cries Of My Town” where the power of culture leads diverse communities to connect, contribute and belong.
Admission to the performance is free and tickets will be handed out a couple days before the performance.
