A selection of Emmy Lou Packard’s works recently donated to the Mendocino Art Center by Packard’s estate.
Eight new Emmy Lou Packard prints, donated to the Mendocino Art Center by Packard’s estate in November, will be on exhibit in Gallery Ten. They will be accompanied by additional Packard prints which were part of a major collection donated by the estate earlier last year. In 1959 Emmy Lou married fellow artist Byron Randall and joined the movement of artists leaving the Bay Area and moving to Mendocino. She spent a decade in Mendocino and was instrumental in helping protect the Mendocino Headlands.
