Join us for a reading & presentation with local author, Donna Kerr! Donna will be reading from her recent work on the life of Dorothy Wordsworth in honor of Dorothy’s birthday on December 25th. Open mic follows. Teens & adults are invited to share poems in any form or style.
A Boston native, Donna Suzanne Kerr adopted Mendocino County as her “new” home 30 years ago. Ms. Kerr worked for 24 years as Librarian at Round Valley, Ukiah, and Willits branch libraries. She is the author of two poetry chapbooks, and her work appears in the anthology An Eye for an Eye Makes the Whole World Blind: Poets on 9/11. She is a past winner of the ukiaHaiku Festival, for which she has also served as judge and keynote speaker.
