The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, a hilarious and heart-felt holiday comedy, will show at the Willits Community Theatre from November 30th through December 16th.
Based on the best-selling young adult novel by Barbara Robinson, the stage production directed by Robert Ford sports a cast of 27, including 17 child actors. The story focuses on an annual church pageant that is turned upside down by the Herdman kids, a rambunctious bunch from the wrong side of the tracks. While there may be chaos at the start, along the way something much larger emerges about how a community pulls together to work out its pageant and wider issues.
