On Friday, October 5th from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm the Mendocino County Library, Ukiah Branch is hosting First Friday Art Walk.

This First Friday we are featuring artists from the local community as part of the inaugural Out of the Ashes art show. This is part of a series of multimedia events taking place in Ukiah, Redwood Valley, and Willits throughout the month of October. The series was designed to commemorate the Mendocino Lake Complex fire, the devastating loss it caused, and celebrate the community rebuilding, resiliency, and rebirth that has happened in the wake of the fire.

Patrons visiting during the art walk will also enjoy making acorn cap jewelry and listening to live music by Kim Monroe. Refreshments will be provided

This event is free to the public and sponsored by the Ukiah Valley Friends of the Library.
