“Beneath the Surface”, mixed media works by Mary-Ellen Campbell of Caspar will be on exhibit at the Artist’s Co-op of Mendocino from July 3 through August 6. She will give her artist’s talk at the 2nd Saturday reception on July 14 at 5:30pm.
“Beneath the Surface”, mixed media works by Mary-Ellen Campbell of Caspar will be on exhibit at the Artist’s Co-op of Mendocino from July 3 through August 6.
Mary-Ellen works in a variety of media from painting in acrylic and watercolor to mixed media collage and assemblage, book arts, photography, and lately she has been experimenting in encaustic. Much of Mary-Ellen’s work deals with environmental themes from recycling and obsolescence to protection of the land, seas and endangered flora and fauna. Her body of work in this exhibit goes “Beneath the Surface” of the ocean, tide pools and structures of marine and animal life.
