This July, head on down to Noyo Harbor to enjoy an amazing salmon feast (veggie options available) and also raise funds for the Salmon Restoration Association.  The World’s Largest Salmon Barbecue is more than just delicious and a fun part of the Fort Bragg celebration of the nation’s most patriotic holiday, it’s also a way to raise awareness about the salmon population in our oceans and rivers. Bring the entire family (sorry, Fido has to stay at home) for a great day of food, live music, local wines and beers, and a whole lot of fun!

Local political and business leaders get their aprons on to become celebrity chefs for the day. The money raised is used to fund actual restoration of legacy logging and development scarred streams and rivers, as well as community education. That fundraising has ranged from salmon hatcheries to training young prospective biologists.
