Mendocino Eco Artists (MEA) iis a group of professional artists who have come together to help conserve and restore the local environment. The members are professional painters, sculptors and photographers who live, work, and draw their creative inspiration from this beautiful place.  We work as partners with environmental groups and use our art to help increase public awareness of our natural environment the problems that exist here, and to raise funds through sale of our artwork to help our partners achieve their goals.

MEA members are Juriaan Blok, Karen Bowers, Mary Ellen Campbell, Maeve Croghan, Eleanor Harvey, John Hewitt, Julie Higgins, Debra Beck Lennox, Suzi Marquess Long, Keith Middlesworth, Jim Moorehead, Deborah Nord, Janis Porter, Paul Reiber, Bob Rhoades, Cynthia Crocker Scott, and Pat Scott.

The Mendocino Land Trust (MLT) is a non-profit organization formed to conserve important natural resources of Mendocino County including working farmlands and forests, wildlife habitat, open space, scenic vistas, watersheds, and to facilitate public access.  MLT efforts have resulted in the conservation of many thousands of acres of land in Mendocino County.

MLT also has projects which restore stream habitat, reduce barriers to fish passage, and recently they have begun adding Electric Vehicle charging stations at state parks and convenient sites throughout the county.  MLT’s coastal trail projects have opened many areas to the public which were previously inaccessible.

Hundreds of people have been inspired and entertained by MEA members’ art work, and been informed of the ecological issues facing our region. Please visit www.mendocinoecoartists.org for information about the group and its members.
