Enjoy an old-fashioned day of food, fun and friendship, in and around our town’s beautiful 1932 grammar school building, home of the Community Center of Mendocino and the beloved After-School Enrichment Program. Hear local treasures Bob Ayres and the Boonville Big Band in an afternoon concert on the lawn that’s sure to bring out the local Swing Dance community. Share old-timey, home-grilled savory treats from Roundman’s Smokehouse (or a vegan alternative). Take in a Children’s Chorus performance. Make an old-timey keepsake in the children’s crafts area.

Sounding like they’re right out of 1928 Memphis, the five-member Todalo Shakers play vintage jug-band party blues, old-time rags, and stomps—a rich and funky palette of vocal blends mixed with hot ragtime tunes on fiddle and mandolin, with virtuoso slap bass solos.
