Everything starts with the Korbel Champagne Preview the Friday before the auction, where people have a chance to put in early bids and view the wines, raffle items, and art exhibits before the tasting on Saturday. Many local wineries and businesses donate premium auction lots such as bottles of award-winning wines, wine related gifts, luxurious lodging packages, golf packages, winery tours, and other great items. Make what you hope to be winning bids on your favorites, knowing that the proceeds will help promote public interest and participation in the arts. Attend the Korbel Champagne Preview and place your bids early! The champagne preview is free but please make reservations at BrownPaperTickets .
The Wine Auction Raffle is always fun and exciting, featuring award-winning artwork and more than $500 in wine and wine related items. Artist Sandy Ostrau has once again agreed to donate one of her spectacular paintings for the raffle (left, “Beach Walk”). See Sandy’s work at sandyostrau.com.
