With a career spanning four decades, jazz flutist Ali Ryerson continues to tour, record and teach master classes internationally. Consistently voted among the top jazz flutists in the Downbeat Jazz Poll and honored as Jazz Flutist of the Year nominee by the Jazz Journalists Association, Ryerson has released nearly two dozen recordings on major jazz labels such as Concord, DMP, Capri Records, and legendary jazz producer Bob Thiele’s Red Baron. Ryerson has recorded and/or toured with jazz icons such as Kenny Barron, Frank Wess, Joe Beck, Mike Mainieri, Roy Haynes, Hubert Laws, Stephane Grappelli, Art Farmer and Red Rodney, to name a few, as well as classical artists Julius Baker and Luciano Pavarotti.

Ali Ryerson is a Gemeinhardt Artist and Clinician, with an Autograph Series of flutes she helped design. It was voted among the top new products at Namm in 2012.
August 2013 marked the CD release of The Ali Ryerson Jazz Flute Big Band, GAME CHANGER, on Capri Records, which debuted at #24 on the Jazz Charts. The album features Ryerson’s groundbreaking 19-piece jazz flute ensemble, with a guest appearance by NEA Jazz Master Hubert Laws.
