The third installment of the five-week Wildlife Film Fest features two spectacular films capturing (pun intended) the thrill of the hunt and the lives of large predators.
“The Hunt – Nowhere to Hide” (48 min.) More than half the land on Earth is open deserts or grasslands where predators can see their prey and the prey can see them coming. The tactics of the hunt are seen in their sharpest relief.
“Bears of the Last Frontier – City of Bears” (60 min.) Chris Morgan and Joe Pontecorvo set up camp in the heart of Alaska, alongside the largest concentration of grizzlies in the world. It is June and the bears are taking advantage of the long days to feed, mate, and raise new cubs.
