The funding is available in two rounds:

Round One Due Thursday, September 2, 2021
100 awards (estimated) ranging from $1,500–$10,000
Projects completed by December 10, 2021

Round Two Application window: October 4–29, 2021
154 awards (estimated) ranging from $1,500–$100,000
Projects completed by March 31, 2022

Communities for Immunity is coordinated by the Association of Science and Technology Centers and the American Alliance of Museum. The Association of Tribal Archives, Libraries, and Museums is coordinating outreach to Native Nations.  Funding and support are provided by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, and the Network of the National Library of Medicine.
