Timeline

NALAC’s 2021 relief effort will operate between January – June 2021 and there will be three application calls by different geographic regions of NALAC’s constituent base.

At this time, our grant-making efforts are focusing on emergency relief for artists in light of the continued impact of COVID-19 and collaborations with foundation partners on grantmaking efforts focused on specific issues, which we will be sharing more about towards the end of the year. In early 2021, we will be providing some more information on relief grants for artists and arts organizations.

After fifteen years of grant-making, NALAC is taking an opportunity to evaluate the NALAC Fund for the Arts to understand the past impact of the program, as well as explore new ways to support Latinx artists and organizations. We anticipate re-opening the call for applications in summer 2021.
