Class Description

Gwynn and Marissa invite you to our virtual theatre camp. This camp will offer a fun, educational, and creative environment for students who are interested in theatre. Explore the magic of storytelling through theatre games, activities, and crafts. At the end of this five-day session we will be putting on a final presentation for our family and friends. Come and join the fun!


Artist Bio

Gwynn Cristobal has served as the Co-Director and Musical Director for Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre’s Kids Summer Theatre Camp, creating shows such as James & the Giant Peach, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, and Peter Pan Jr. Gwynn’s performance credits include a plethora of organizations throughout Humboldt County and the Bay Area. Gwynn enjoys being a nanny and working with kids. She obtained her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Theatre Arts from Humboldt State University.

Marissa Sanchez is an actor, writer, teaching artist, and overall creative. She has been working as a teaching artist (TA) since she graduated from Humboldt State University. She currently works for Oregon Children’s Theatre and enjoys working with youth, teaching them the power of storytelling. Aside from being a TA, she’s also the co-facilitator for the Portland based non-profit, Age and Gender Equity in the Arts’ theatre collective. She strongly believes that theatre is a catalyst for social change and commits to including youth in that conversation.
