As part of our More Pets and People Together campaign, the California for All Animals program (administered by the UC Davis Koret Shelter Medicine Program) is inviting community members to answer the question, “What does more pets and people together mean to you?” with original art for a chance to win a $5,000 grant for their animal shelter. Everyone is invited to reflect on what animal companionship means to them and to their community via pencil, crayon, brush, digital drawing tool, etc. Artists of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to enter.

Please spread the word in your creative community. We’d love to see a diverse representation of youth and adult voices across the state!

Anyone can enter by posting their art with the hashtags #PetsAndPeopleTogether #MascotasYPersonasUnidas or submitting art to their local animal shelter by November 11.

You can find downloadable contest flyers in Spanish and English and additional info here: https://www.californiaforallanimals.com/get-involved/together/contest/

Please let me know if you have any questions, and thanks in advance for helping connect local artists to this opportunity!
