“Treasure Hunt” with artist, Virginia Ray at Northcoast Artists Gallery

Curious and imaginative, Virginia Ray’s assemblages give new meaning to “Found Object Art.” Her work is like walking through a curiosity shop, and a natural history museum. Her studies of ordinary and mysterious objects, found in everyday life, often include vintage cooking vessels, graters, and spoons. They exude charm and whimsy.

Opening night is First Friday, September 2, from 5 to 8 pm. Virginia will be at the gallery to answer any questions and give a short talk at 6:00. Please join us! There will be wine and refreshments.
