The Billie Holiday Project, a classical jazz band led by vocalist Stella Heath, celebrates the music of Lady Day at Willits Community Theatre on Sunday, June 2 at 2pm.
The band features some of the Bay Areas finest Jazz musicians, with Heath invoking the vocal stylings of Holiday, piano virtuoso Neil Fontano from Sonoma County, Jason Bellenkes on tenor saxophone and clarinet, and Trevor Kinsel on upright bass and the cornet.
