In celebration of Spring and the Easter tradition of egg decoration, Mickie McCormic will lead a workshop in elaborate surface designs techniques on eggs.
We will use Ukrainian kiskas tools (shown in photo on left) for applying wax to eggs – and work with several other kinds of resists for dyeing eggs.
Other methods of surface design will include gilding and stamping. All materials will be provided, including several blown eggs for each person, but participants may bring more eggs if they wish, either hard-boiled or raw (there will be a demonstration on how to blow out an egg easily).

Registration for the April 7, four hour workshop is available on line at http://pacifictextilearts.org or in person at Pacific Textile Arts, weekly open hours: Wed. 10:30-12, Thurs. 1:30-3:30 or Sat. 11-1:00. The cost is $50.00.
