Jim is a “weel-kent” singer of traditional and contemporary Scottish songs, including some of his own composing, with a rich and expressive vocal style. He is also a consummate entertainer, by turns
humorous and poignant, whether describing the context of a song or some aspect of Scottish history and culture. He has many friends here and this gives his performances a particularly warm and intimate character.
