Out of the Ashes Exhibition

Artists from within and beyond Mendocino County produced work; writing, art, poetry, and more in response to the fires of 2017. The work is on display until the end of October, 2018.

Many works shown are results from the healing Mosaic Workshops led by Elizabeth Raybee and Nori Dolan. The works of local artists are featured; Linda MacDonald, Sue Ellen Parkinson, Jan Hoyman, Elizabeth Raybee, Tim Easterbrook, and many others. Their contributions are timeless and provocative.

This exhibition was hosted and supported by the Mendocino County Museum. Special thanks go to Curator Karen Mattson, the entire staff of the museum, and her volunteer staff. International artist Jaye Alison Moscariello worked with Ms. Mattson to produce a moving and beautiful exhibit. Your Mendocino County Library card gets you in free!
