Symphony of the Redwoods violinist Cindy Moyer is bringing her friends from Humboldt to perform for us a concert of light classical music fitting a Sunday afternoon on the Mendocino Coast.
The Vipisa Trio is a Violin, Piano, and Saxophone trio featuring faculty and staff from Cal Poly Humboldt: Virginia Ryder, saxophone; Cindy Moyer, violin; and John Chernoff, piano.
Their program will include the most famous piece written for this instrumentation, Cantilène et danse by M. Eychenne, as well as new music composed for the Vipisa Trio by J. Chernoff and D. da Silva.
