MEA at the 46th Annual World’s Largest Salmon BBQ

Look for the Mendocino Eco Artists’ booth at the annual World’s Largest Salmon Barbecue on July 1 in Noyo Harbor where artists will be selling raffle tickets for a specially created piece of artwork donated by one of the MEA member artists.

This year’s artwork is something very special. Popular and talented multi-media sculptor Keith Middlesworth has created a NEON SALMON. Keith’s neon art pieces are extremely popular and sought after.

Every dollar from the raffle ticket sale will go directly to salmon habitat restoration projects in our county. Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10 or 7 for $20. Please bring cash or checks. The raffle drawing will take place at 4 pm at the barbecue; winner need not be present to win.

Would you like your own portrait? Several MEA member artists will be offering their talents to do beautiful portraits in watercolor, pastel, and other media for a suggested donation of $10 per individual. This is a very popular activity at the Salmon Barbecue and everyone is delighted with their take-home art work.
