"Light and It's Contrast", Photographs by Dolores Clark

We live within ourselves in inner worlds of images strung together we call memories.  Each images that we notice and take into ourselves has the potential to bring us to a state of keen consciousness, and take us momentarily out of the slumbering brain waves that normally we proceed with through in our lives.

For some the state of slumber begins in a toxic womb and may continue to be over powering for our entire life.  For others, a home life of abuse, poverty, loneliness, differentness, and persecution force our self to build walls of protection trapping and imprisoning the conscious impulses.

The images I have chosen carefully for this show is a collection of over 30 years of iconic images. The message behind my photographs is a hope it will evoke a response from the heart.
