LAUNCH PARTY of the Gorek exhibit UNDERCURRENT

Elizabeth Gorek’s U N D E R C U R R E N T is opening this weekend!  Plan to join us on the LSG deck this coming Saturday, June 10th from 4-8pm to enjoy a tibble and a nosh and bathe in the beauty.  Elizabeth will be there in person to answer questions, meet fans, and mingle with all those present. We know you will be as charmed as we are.

Gorek’s paintings range from colorful abstracts to representational figurative work and are largely oil on wood panel or oil on canvas mounted on wood panel. She comes from a family of artists and considers herself a life-long student of fine art. Gorek loves how light touches darkness.  She is drawn to the unguarded moment, stripped of artifice, a caught thought trapped in the body that betrays an inner life.
