Judith was an accomplished artist in many mediums from serene local landscapes to dynamic Native American portraits to her delightful cat series in pen and ink, watercolor, oil, acrylic and pencil – originals and prints.
The late Judith Brown, long-time local artist, is remembered for her limited edition linoleum block print series:
Happy Cats, a lighthearted art print collection; and a locally-inspired series including Mendocino Bay; as well as her Famous Cat Art Series, playfully juxtaposing famous paintings with cat faces. You may remember chuckling at these in the gallery over the past many years.
