Jazz in the Autumn: “The Art of the Ballad”

Larry Vuckovich has performed with top musicians of various influences, from Dexter Gordon and Philly Joe Jones to Mel Torme, Don Byas and Red Norvo and today’s artists. Born in Montenegro, Vuckovich pioneered world music Balkan ethnic jazz fusion. He tours nationally and internationally.

Andrew Speight is on of the Bay Area’s most lively and lyrical exponents of straight-ahead, joyous jazz. Speight came of age playing with American starts like Percy Heath, Nt Adderley and Benny Carter. His 1998 CD Andrew Speight Quartet won an Aria Award, the Australian equivalent of a Grammy.
