C.N. Gorman Museum director Hulleah Tsinhnahjinnie and C.N. Gorman curator Veronica Passalacqua discuss the genesis and themes of Our People, Our Land, Our Images, an exhibit of international Indigenous photography.
The speakers will discuss exhibition themes focusing on representation, colonialism, cultural continuity, sovereignty and the future of indigenous photography.
Created by the C.N. Gorman Museum at UC Davis in 2006, Our People, Our Land, Our Images has traveled to museums and institutions large and small in the last 12 years. The Grace Hudson Museum will be the last venue to show the exhibit, on view until Sept. 30.
