First Friday at Edgewater Gallery: 20th Anniversary Founder’s Show

In celebration of 20 years in business, Edgewater Gallery is showing works by our original founding members for the month of September. It was a special group of artists who each brought not only their artistic talents but also all of the other skills necessary to found and operate a gallery. We are pleased to welcome them back for this special show and are excited to see what they have each been up to since leaving Edgewater.

“Art is both influenced and fueled by our experiences. Twenty years is a long time and a lot of life and the changes it brings have happened for each of us. It will be fun to see the new directions each of our art work has taken”, says Alexis Moyer, who along with Patricia Breed, is one of the two remaining founding members.

Patricia says, “We all came together with a shared vision and trust. It’s no small thing to work together cooperatively like this to form a gallery. I am looking forward to reuniting with old friends.”

Many of the founders will be at the First Friday opening and looking forward to reconnecting with old friends and meeting new visitors as well. We hope you will join us from 5 to 8 pm to celebrate our 20 years!

Edgewater Gallery is an artist collective currently celebrating our 20th year in business. The gallery is always staffed by one of the artists and we welcome you to come in, meet one of us, and share what we’ve created. We have a selection of works that include painting, photography, ceramics, wood bowls and tables, jewelry and mixed media works.

Edgewater will host an opening celebration on First Friday, September 1st  from 5 to 8 pm. Light refreshments will be served.
