Derek A. DiOrio Exhibition

Derek A. DiOrio, an illustrator, fine artist, and graphic designer, is exhibiting in Gallery Ten. His concentration is in mixed media and assemblage – utilizing everything from pen and ink, watercolor and acrylic paint, to foam core, wood and metal. His two primary tools of choice are the X-Acto blade and orbital jigsaw. Depending on the medium, he interchangeably uses each instrument to depict a bizarre world of mischief, heartache and “inky” humor. It’s a world where methodical asymmetry is just as visually balanced as symmetry.
