This outdoor event in Grace Hudson Museum’s Wild Gardens will help visitors learn about the stories and traditions of the native Pomo peoples, the original inhabitants of the greater Ukiah Valley, around this important local food.
Self-guided materials will be available for finding acorns while exploring the Wild Gardens, an outdoor educational environment focusing on native Northern California plants and habitats.
Entrance to the Wild Gardens requires that all visitors wear a mask, and appropriate social distancing must be maintained. There is a limit of 45 people admitted at any one time.
