Composer William “Jay” Sydeman will talk about his life as a musician & orchestral composer & will highlight many of the pieces he has written on Sunday Nov. 10, 1 pm at the Community Center of Mendocino.

The works will include a memorial work for the Boston Symphony written after the death of John F. Kennedy. Sydeman will discuss his composing techniques, ilustrated by examples, during a question & answer period.
The event is a benefit for the Community Center of Mendocino.
