The Willits Community Theatre will present a reading of a new play, “The Christians”, by Lucas Hnath on Friday March 9 and Saturday March 10, both shows at at 8pm.
The play tells the story of what happens when the pastor of an evangelical mega-church tells his congregation that Hell does not exist. This causes a split in the church. Attempting to smooth over the split causes repercussions in the pastor Paul’s marriage and in his soul. Tickets for The Christians are $5 and are only available at the door. The Willits Community Theatre is located at 37 West Van Lane in Willits, just a block west from Mazahar, which is located at 38 South Main Street in Willits.
