2019 Studio Discovery Tour

Enjoy the most beautiful scenery that the northern California coast has to offer while visiting the studios of the area’s most unique and talented artists.

The 2019 Studio Discovery Tour continues August 31-September 2, Labor Day weekend Studios are open 10:00-5:00 each day.

This free, self-guided tour along breathtakingly scenic coastal Highway 1, from Point Arena to The Sea Ranch, is the perfect way to spend a leisurely day or an entire weekend. The artists you meet along the way are happy to demonstrate the making of their art and to share their unique vision.

Of course art works are available for purchase. Something that you take home from the Tour will bring back wonderful memories of the North Coast for many years to come. Visitors return each year simply to discover what fresh works their favorite artists have created, and perhaps to add to their collections or purchase unique gifts for family and friends.

Our free color catalog will guide you on your tour. It provides descriptions of each artist, along with maps and directions to studios. Watch for our bright yellow tour signs. The catalog is a must when visiting artists on The Sea Ranch where tour signs are not permitted.

Visit the Discovery Gallery, 39140 S Highway 1, Gualala, CA, in the Seacliff Center, lower level, on the west side of the street, to preview the work of Studio Tour artists and to pick up catalogs with maps.
