19th Annual COUNTYWIDE HIGH SCHOOL POETRY SLAM

At 4pm, on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at the Matheson Performing Arts Center at MHS, high school poets will compete to become the Mendocino Poetry Out Loud champion. (MHS Campus, Ford Street, off Little Lake St., Mendocino),

High School poets from Mendocino, Point Arena, Ukiah, and Fort Bragg will share their original poetry at the 19th annual MCOE/CPITS Countywide High School Poetry Slam. The event will be judged by local poets, with content, performic ability, and audience response influencing their decision.

The slam is sponsored by the Mendocino County Office of Education and California Poets in the Schools, with support from MHS, MCCHS, PAHS, PCCHS & UHS
