It’s for real! After years of expertly managing Arena Theater live shows, Lu, our house manager will leave the area at the end of the year to start a new chapter in his life. We will miss him greatly and would love to find volunteers for the job before he leaves so Lu can help train them. It’s a big job and after listening to Lu’s recommendations we’ve concluded that having a team of volunteers to share the multitude of tasks would be better than having just one person shoulder the burden.
To give you a general idea what the job is about, the house manager oversees the smooth running of the event day-of and has responsibilities before, during and after the show which include but are not limited to supporting all volunteer functions, filling in where needed, greeting arriving audience members, and serving as usher to help locate seats when house if full.
