DRAWING INTENSIVE WORKSHOP with Larry Thomas (at Pacific Textile Arts)

February 2017

Each Wednesday & Friday throughout the month

1:00 – 3:30 P.M.

Pacific Textile Arts, 450 Alger St., Ft. Bragg

The focus of this workshop is based on observation and experimentation with new approaches to the medium of drawing, and different ways of seeing the subject. There will be a variety of exercises taking the participants through a series of explorations incorporating the elements of drawing - line, shape, texture, value, and gesture, culminating in individual drawing projects.
The class is geared for both beginning and experienced artists with the intention of stimulating the imagination and broadening one’s drawing skills. Individual and group discussions as work develops throughout the month-long session will be an important component of the workshop. The class will mount an exhibition at Pacific Textile Arts during March 2017.
