MERIDY VOLZ SUMMER PAINTING WORKSHOPS

$150 for each workshop $550 for all 4 workshops $35/day drop in

This class teaches you to push color, line, and composition. It will encourage you to find your voice through painting. Meridy works with each artist individually and teaches techniques in a myriad of styles with both brush and knife, ranging from representational to abstract. For masters, Meridy will keep you on your edge and risk-taking is encouraged. For beginners, you will learn to work with paint and brushes.

For this class, students will bring an image to paint.( For best results, bring a subject you have some emotional attachment to. i.e. a person, place, thing or idea that moves you.) Bring your canvas, paper, paint, brushes, knives, sovent, paper towels, scissors, masking tape, small cardboard to mount your image, and ruler.
Be ready to immerse yourself in color and intense creative expression.
