MAC Call for Entries: "Glorious Gardens"

The Mendocino Art Center hosts “Glorious Gardens” from August 1 to September 14, 2023, juried by watercolorist Nancy Collins & ceramacist Jessica Thompson.

A Second Saturday Gallery Reception will be held August 12, 5pm to 7pm.

Awards
First Place: $100 Second Place: $75 Third Place: $50

Entry Instructions
We will be accepting entries in-person only. Please see the entry deadlines and timeline below.

For All Submissions
You must be a current Mendocino Art Center member. If your membership has lapsed, please become a member prior to entering your artwork online. You may also renew your membership on take-in date.
Works of art in any medium will be considered.

• All submitted artwork must be original work—no artwork reproductions will be accepted.
• Artwork must not exceed 50 pounds or 40” wide.
• Artwork must have been created since the beginning of 2022, and not previously shown at the Mendocino Art Center.
• All artwork must be for sale.

You may enter up to 3 pieces. A non-refundable entry fee of $45 will cover the submission of 1 to 3 pieces of art.

Artists receive 60% of the sale price of their work. Commissions are paid within 60 days of sales.

EVENT CALENDAR

• August 1st: In-Person take-in from 11 am – 3 pm
• August 2nd: Unselected art work to be picked up 11 am – 3pm
• August 12th: Second Saturday Reception 5 – 7 pm (Please bring an appetizer to share)
• September 15th: All unsold artwork to be picked up from 11 am – 3 pm
