FREE Theater Workshops in Spanish

Theatre is one of the richest artistic expressions that a human being can experience. In its different expressions you can live an endless experience of emotions that at the same time are transmitted to an audience. That is why SPACE invites you to participate in the "Family Theatre Workshop." The workshops will be on Sunday, September 15 and 22, 10:15 a.m. to noon, at SPACE Theater, 508 West Perkins Street in Ukiah.

You can interact with people of different ages, through games, theater techniques and group activities, you can experience the magic of acting in a fun and spontaneous way. The main intention of this workshop is to plant the seeds of acting in the Spanish-speaking community and direct this effort to the production of a pastorela in December.

The workshop will be taught by Olivia Zamora, aimed at 9 years and older. This is a free workshop for more information and to confirm your participation please call Ignacio Ayala at 707-462-9370.

This project is part of ¡Viva la Cultura! A year-long project partially funded by the California Arts Council.
