We are grateful for the supplies provided through Economic Development Financing Corporation (EDFC). These masks and bottles of sanitizer are for businesses to use for safety of their customers and staff. The Chamber office is the local hub for pickup.
HOW TO OBTAIN SUPPLIES
You will need to pre-order for your business. You may fill out your order form and email it or fax it. Orders will be filled beginning this Thursday, July 30th.
HOW MUCH CAN I ORDER FOR MY BUSINESS?
We are supplying the entire County of Mendocino with the inventory we've received. Orders will be fulfilled based on business size/customer traffic and a maximum per order will be noted. You may place additional orders as needed.
WHO SHOULD RECEIVE MASKS / USE OF SANITIZER?
The purpose of this program is to MASK UP MENDO. We are asking YOU to be the stewards of what is available to businesses. We have a limited supply of these resources.
A key component that will ensure success of this program is the understanding that customers should be given a mask if they wish to enter a business and do not have one. If you have staff that doesn't have access to PPE prior to their shift, this will enable you to provide that for them.
*PLEASE NOTE: These supplies are not meant to be used primarily for staff, but for visitors to your business.
IMPLEMENT A HOSPITALITY / GREETER MODEL UPON ENTRY
Some businesses have already adopted a model of providing a "greeter" at the door and they are finding a level of success with this approach. This hospitality driven concept creates an atmosphere of invitation and warmth vs enforcement. If a customer doesn't have a mask...hand them one with smile and a warm welcome. If a greeter doesn't fit your business, consider adopting the approach in a way that makes sense for your setting.
