It's been a long time in the planning. We've put a lot of consideration into how to bring activities safely for kids ages 9-14. Finally it' here. Flynn Creek Circus' brings covid safe children's activities to the Coast this Halloween.

Early registration advised. Extremely limited enrollment!

Safe, fun, physical activity!  Kids will have room to play and learn in the colorful big top with the guidance of the professional circus staff. This limited enrollment workshop will work train students in aerial arts, slack-line and acrobatics while maintaining comprehensive covid safety.

Beginning to advanced level students are welcome.  Students will receive more in-depth instruction in our limited enrollment format and create an end of workshop recital performance to show off what they've learned.  The recital performance is free admission but REQUIRES SEAT RESERVATION DUE TO COUNTY GATHERING LIMITATIONS!

General Information:

Participants should wear comfortable clothing for gymnastic movement. Hair should be tied back and shirts should be snug or tucked in (we go upside down a lot!). Please bring a snack and bottled water. We will have portable heaters throughout the tent in the event of cool weather, but warm clothes and extra layers are advised.

Student to teacher ratio is a maximum of 5:1. Students are supervised at all times.


COVID SAFETY STATEMENT

We take your safety (and ours) seriously.

ENVIRONMENT:
*Circus tent is an open air, high ceiling canopy (no tent walls)
*Total enrollment per session is 15 children broken into rotation groups of 5 per group and one instructor.
*Face masks or face shield are required for entry. Face shields are provided to participants.
*Social distancing space more than 20 feet between each 6-person grouping (includes instructor), and 6-10 feet between each individual
*Hand free hand sanitizer at entrance of tent
*All surfaces are sanitized between each use
*Multiple entrances/exits to prevent clustering

STAFF:
*Staff is quarantined for 14 days or tested negative prior to the camp sessions
*Staff consists of highly qualified, local artists that are an existing ‘stable bubble’
*Staff wears face shields and masks
*Staff uses hand sanitizer before each student turn and before each group rotation
*Staff maintains social distancing during all activities between participants

ACTIVITIES:
*Activities include aerials, slack-line and acrobatics
*All equipment is sanitized between each use
*Instructors use minimum contact possible while maintaining student safety

RECITAL:
*Recital attendance is restricted by CDC and County gathering guidelines
*Face mask or compliant Face shield is required for entry
*Recital seating is advance reserve only! Seating is separated at least 8 feet between each reserved group
*Recital video link available to families
*Seating is sanitized before and after recitals
*We cannot allow walk in attendance and strongly encourage early reserve to guarantee seating in our limited capacity recital
