How do you know you have aged? Do you participate in a ritual, graduating from a certain grade, attaining a specific goal or birthday? And do you age gracefully or triumphantly? Resentfully? Reluctantly?
Exhibit Opening reception Friday, September 8, 5 pm to 7 pm. Exhibit remains through Sunday, October 1; Elaine Jacob Foyer and Burnett Gallery; free.
The Art of Aging exhibit will be a judged fine art exhibit of all types of media, 2-D and
3-D, on the theme of aging. This fine art exhibit is challenging both the artist and
the viewer to explore, celebrate and contemplate the process of aging. Hopefully, all participants of all ages will gain a deeper appreciation of aging; that aging does have a purpose.
