GREAT ESCAPES Art Center Ukiah Call For Artists

GREAT ESCAPES (benefit for the Bahamas) When the mercury drops and the north winds blows through our PolarFleece, we winter-weary folk indulge in dreams of an exotic tropical paradise where it never freezes. What is your vision of the perfect winter getaway? We are looking for works in all media, both two and three-dimensional. Any work that is donated will be included in a silent auction to benefit the recovery effort of the Bahamas following Hurricane Dorian.

Open to all Mendocino and Lake County residents, $25 fee for the first entry, $10 for each subsequent entry, with checks made out to Art Center Ukiah. Completed entry forms and all ready-to-hang work (NO sawtooth hangers) must be delivered for jurying to the Corner Gallery (201 S State St in Ukiah) no later than noon on Thursday January 2. Artists are encouraged to email photos of their submissions to acuentries@yahoo.com by the middle of December for possible inclusion in the publicity for the show. A refund will be given to the artist for any work not accepted in the show.
