The concert also features Salcedo Rice’s three daughters, all accomplished musicians: Jessica Rice Vierra and Patricia Rice Agee, violin; and Elizabeth Rice Oliver, cello.

Salcedo Rice states, “Beethoven’s Fifth is a musical story about ‘tragedy to triumph’ beginning with the famous C minor motif and ending with the victorious fourth movement in C major.”
