Intermediate Level

Jug Band and Blues – with Janet Lenore McAlister

American Blues music is much more (and sometimes less) than a basic “12-bar pattern.” And what does it mean to play a “12 bar blues” song anyway? We’ll dig into this expansive musical genre to uncover a few of these musical diamonds in the rough. Some songs are timeless, some crept into the rock and roll charts when they were “discovered” in the ‘60s, and some are just plain fun to play.

Noon – 1:30PM Lunch. Schmooze, Jam

(Bring your own lunch or check local venues nearby)
