Beginning Ukulele – with Amy Friedricks
Experience the fun and accessibility of this little musical wonder. Using classic folk/rock repertoire beginners will learn a handful of essential chords and strums and lots of songs
Intermediate Level
Jug Band and Blues – with Janet Lenore McAlister
American Blues music is much more (and sometimes less) than a basic “12-bar pattern.” And what does it mean to play a “12 bar blues” song anyway? We’ll dig into this expansive musical genre to uncover a few of these musical diamonds in the rough. Some songs are timeless, some crept into the rock and roll charts when they were “discovered” in the ‘60s, and some are just plain fun to play.
