Enjoy a behind-the-scenes, self-guided tour of a diverse selection of eight of the Mendocino Coast’s most magnificent private gardens – situated between Mendocino and Fort Bragg – on the Mendocino Art Center’s (MAC) 25th Anniversary Mendocino Coast Garden Tour, Saturday, June 24, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tickets are now on sale.

This year’s accompanying activities include an Opening Night Gala, held at a stunning modern home overlooking Van Damme Bay, Friday, June 23, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served against the backdrop of live music performed by Ira Rosenberg and Sally Wells. On Garden Tour day, 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Ravens Restaurant at the Stanford Inn by the Sea hosts a gourmet vegan luncheon, with a choice of three delicious entrees and dessert. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Mendocino Art Center. Also on June 24, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the popular garden shop and plant sale will be held at the MAC, with an array of plants and creative handcrafted garden art, set amidst the Art Center’s own beautiful grounds.

“Flora and Fauna,” a members’ juried exhibit held in conjunction with the Garden Tour, features the finest works created by the Mendocino Art Center’s contributing members, June 2-25.

The Garden Tour is the Art Center’s largest annual fundraiser.
