Opening First Friday, February 2, 5-8:00 pm, and continuing through February 24,  Pacific Textile Arts’ Gallery will be adorned with the rug hooking artistry of Laura Pierce, a Petaluma fiber artist, “Hooked Rugs Off the Wall” will showcase Laura’s artistic use of the traditional fiber art technique of rug hooking to create tapestry-like wall pieces.

She will be teaching rug hooking in a Pacific Textile Arts workshop February 24 & 25.  The website, pacifictextilearts.org, contains details of the workshop and more about Laura Pierce.  Pacific Textile Arts is located at 450 Alger St., Ft. Bragg.
