Tuition: $100 + $10 material fee
Explore the process of transforming cotton, linen & other rag into paper using recycled clothes & linens unable to be sold from local thrift stores. This one-day hands-on workshop will cover the fundamentals of Western hand papermaking, including equipment & terminology, pulp preparation, sheet forming, pressing & drying. We will also explore the creative techniques of embedding, embossing, lamination & collage.
